Flamborough Head is a Dutch band from Friesland - perfect a new language and culture in an extraordinary way. The band's name alludes to a reference to it from the cliffs, which first appears on the horizon when traveling from the Netherlands to England. In their music, the group presents symphonic, melodic, rock sounds, reminiscent of such bands as Marillion, Pendragon, Arena and Camel, all with a characteristic style that determines their leaders.

Unspoken Whisper is the debut studio album of Flamborough Head, released in 1998. Here we have 7 tracks presenting clear progrock with symphonic elements, full of ambitious musical ideas. You can see the freshness and unpretentiousness accompanying the new team. In the long compositions you can already see the maturity and work that was polished up before the final recording. The band then formed with Siebe-Rein Schaaf presenting strong lead vocals and lyrical keyboards, and André Cents providing guitar sounds. Due to the remaster in the reissued version, the album sounds much better than the 1998 release, allowing the audience to experience the beginnings of the Flamborough Head band anew. We recommend both fans who want to remember the old days and people who would like to get to know them.

This might be the least folky of the Wobbler releases and I wasn't sure about it at all. After a few listens however I'm loving the inventiveness and the endless melodies, all driven along by Kristian Hultgren's wonderful percussive bass. PartTimeZombie

Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music.
