Flamborough Head is a Dutch band from Friesland - perfect a new language and culture in an extraordinary way. The band's name alludes to a reference to it from the cliffs, which first appears on the horizon when traveling from the Netherlands to England. In their music, the group presents symphonic, melodic, rock sounds, reminiscent of such bands as Marillion, Pendragon, Arena and Camel, all with a characteristic style that determines their leaders.

Tales Of Imperfection is the second album after change of the band's line-up. Margriet Boomsma's female vocal reappears here, and her melodic flute playing diversifies the composition. Eddie Mulder returns as well, giving a great show of his skills in powerful electric solos and stately acoustic parts. Stylish retro sounds from the 70s dominate here. Powerful synthesizer passages, melotron sounds and delicate parts of guitars and flutes, as well as expressive singing set against them. All this is included in a beautiful melodic arrangement typical of Edo Spanning - the main composer and keyboard player of the band.
